Adult Swim gets April Fools Day started off right

So, instead of showing their regularly scheduled programming, as soon as the clock rolled over to April 1 on the East Coast Adult Swim started showing episodes of Perfect Hair Forever...complete with fake subtitles. The subtitles of course, made no sense, some of them were even excerpts from Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes. Man, it was funny. They even dropped the F-bomb, kinda caught me off guard. I do so love cable.


Anime Network is on Wide Open West

Anime Network and digital cable provider Wide Open West have inked a deal that will ensure that anime on demand will get in the hands of all those eager midwestern otaku.

The Detroit Free Press had an article today on two faith-based comics that are drawn in the manga style. While I'm all about people's right to express their religion artistically, the whole thing seems kind of weird to me.

Last night Adult Swim aired Blood+. I was a bit worried that they might butcher it or screw up the dub, but I have to say it was far better than I expected.

An interesting article on Anime-inspired students
