The folks over at IGN TV have a world exclusive, the first English dubbed episode of the newest Guyver series. Anime Network will be airing the episode October 26th, but for you Guyver Guys (ha!, pun) that just can't wait you can watch the entire first episode at IGN TV.

IFC is adding 2 more anime series

TV Week reports that IFC is adding Basilisk and Gunslinger Girl to its anime lineup. IFC already hit it big with Samurai 7, and they've picked two series that could bring them more starving anime fans.

Death Note artist arrested

I haven't seen a lot of people write about this one, but apparently Death Note and Hikaru no Go artist Takeshi Obata was arrested in Japan a few day ago. The charge? Illegal possesion of a knife.
Japan has some fairly nasty anti-weaponry laws, Obata-san may be in for quite a lot of trouble.
