Apparently, Marvelous Entertainment’s 2006-2007 financial report reveals that a sequel is in the works for its hit series Gunslinger Girl.

This is one of the most kick ass series around, I’m excited that there will be more. :icon_lol:

For me, Gunslinger Girl ranks right up there with Noir as one of the best action anime series ever made. It’s violent, yes…but beautifully so, and the detail on some of the weapons rivals what you see in Ghost in the Shell.

No word yet on when the new gunslinger girl hotness will be available, but in the meantime you can buy the original series on DVD. IFC used to air the series, but they don’t currently have it on their schedule. That’s just a crime against otaku everywhere, in my opinion.
