While pondering the mysteries of the universe today, a thought struck me. There are a number of sports-based anime and manga titles out there, but I think there’s something missing. There’s an important sport being left out.

I mean, your “normal” sports are well covered. Slam Dunk’s a nice basketball tale, Prince of Tennis rocks, Hajime no Ippo is okay for boxing fans, and EyeShield 21 is one my favorites since it covers American-rules football, which I NEVER thought would be covered by a Japanese manga.

But there’s still a sport missing, a Winter Olympics Sport enjoyed by millions of people across the globe, the sport of KINGS!!

I am talking, of course, of Curling :icon_lol:

A Manga about curling…you KNOW it would rock!

Curling is like…bowling PLUS hockey! The potential for an entertaining mix of hilarity and sports drama is obvious. Imagine the Japanese Curling team competing in the Olympics, against the fiercely competitive Canadian team. The glares, the tension, the drama, the sweat drops!

Somebody call Miyazaki, I have a proposal…
