The Best of Hayao Miyazaki

My latest article over at IGN Anime ranks Miyazaki’s masterpieces.

Ranking Hayao Miyazaki’s films is a fairly difficult task since he’s been incredibly consistent at producing high-quality movies over his 24-year feature film career. None of his films are even remotely bad, but some of them are certainly less good than others.

I knew quite a bit about Miyazaki’s work already, but I did learn a couple of new things while doing research for the article. For example, did you know that a Japanese environmental group bought a Totoro Forest preserve in the Saitama Prefecture in honor of Miyazaki’s My Neighbor Totoro film?
