Death Note Live Action Movies in the works
Continuing the trend of Live Action anime, MangaNews.net reports that a Live Action Death Note movie is in the works. DN fans everywhere collectively pray that it doesn’t suck.
According to MangaNews.net:
“Weekly Shounen Jump issue 8 (1/23) will announce Death Note’s live-action movie adaptation. There will be two movies: first one in June, second one in October.”
I wrote about the alarming trend of of anime/manga to live-action adaptions in my Saikano: The Movie post. The trend continues with Death Note, which may take off because of the popularity of the manga both in Japan and the US. Let’s all hope that it turns out okay.

Who are they going to find to play this guy?

Ha Ha, I wish.
The current rumor is that Ryuk and Rem will be computer generated. Hopefully that comes out well.
