There’s another full-featured anime film coming out, but this time it isn’t live action. Imagi animation studios will be cranking out an all CG version of Gatchaman. This old-school anime was due for a revival.

Gatchaman (aka “Battle of the Planets”), was a very colorful show of from waaaay back.

Gatchaman is one of those campy cult-classics, with over 205 episodes that were first aired back in the ’70s. I’m a bit surprised to see it revived, but it looks like the colorful superhero ninjas are about to come back to life in a big way.
